Real estate WhatsApp follow-up messages that get replies

Most real estate leads do not say no. They go quiet. The agent who follows up politely, with something useful, and at sensible intervals, usually gets the visit. Here is a sequence you can adapt.

Rules before you send anything

The sequence

Day 0: first reply (within 5 minutes)

Hi [Name], thanks for your interest in [Project], [Sector]. I'm [Your name]. To suggest the right options, may I ask your budget range and when you're planning to buy?

Day 0, later: brochure plus one question

Sharing the brochure and price sheet, [Name]. Are you looking for self-use or investment?

Day 2: one useful fact

Hi [Name], quick update: [Project] is [distance] from [metro/school/hospital]. Would a weekend visit work to see it in person?

Day 5: offer a choice

[Name], I can show you the sample flat on Saturday 11 am or Sunday 4 pm. Which suits you better?

Day 7: value, not pressure

Hi [Name], I put together a one-page comparison of loan EMI at different down payments for [unit type]. Want me to send it?

Day 14: new reason to talk

[Name], [Project] has [new fact: construction update / payment plan change / unit availability]. Happy to share details if you're still looking.

Day 30: soft close

Hi [Name], I don't want to keep messaging if the timing isn't right. Should I check back in a few months, or close this for now?

After they say yes to a visit

Confirmed, [Name]: [Day, time] at [Project site]. Pin: [link]. Please carry [ID if required]. I'll meet you at the gate. Reply here if plans change.

Send a reminder the morning of the visit and a thank-you message two hours after it.

Track it, or it will not happen

A follow-up sequence only works if every lead has a next action and a date. That is what a CRM is for. The Sales Machine kit includes an Excel CRM with a follow-up queue that shows who to message today, plus fill-in versions of every message above.
